Assessment

Glimpses of my life in the past 19 years.

Though this may seem easy, trust me- it’s not. First time when you write it, the number of items in the list of “Yet to be achieved” will be far greater than the number of items in the list “Achievements”. But write it down no matter what. It serves as a reflection of where you stand, what you have become and how you are changing.

Current Status: Achieved Something

Current Attitude: Something is not enough.

Achievements
Passed CA-IPCC.

Studying at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.

KTSE scholarship – Rs.90,000.

House Captain in school.

TYBCOM Representative at Students’ Council, NMCCE.

HoD-Events of the Library Club, NMCCE.

HSC: 96/100 in French after failing the semester papers miserably (Still makes me feel proud).

No social commitments.

Never rejected in an interview.

Yet to achieve

AIR at CA Final

Travel throughout the country and later on throughout the world.

Quiet life without rush.

Peace of mind and happiness.

My own broking firm/ business.

Mastery in Guitar and Chess.

Controlling my reclusive attitude, such that no one feels hurt (I have been told this many times now).

Hone my soft skills.

Learn swimming.

Go skydiving, bungee jumping, rafting.

Some amazing friendships.

Make a difference- Be the difference.
As aforementioned, the “Yet to achieve” list is decisively longer than the “Achievements” list. I can give a million reasons about all the things that went wrong but the truth lies somewhere in all the opportunities that I missed. Now let’s see how life pans out further in the years to come. There will surely be new additions to both lists but deletions will happen only in the “Yet to achieve” list. That is the purpose of life, isn’t it? – to move on !

Even you- the reader can suggest me some good ideas which should be pursued, and changes which ought to be made. So, comment and let me know. Adiós!

In this journey of life, keep your eyes on the wonderful backgrounds. They pass by only once and if you are busy tredding on that worn road, then they are lost forever.

  1. I have a similar list, I do not possess the courage to make it public. I salute you on your endeavors and would love to one day see your lists complete.
